Default Replacing Old Weathered Washer Blades

hey guys, since the weather has gone from hot to wet, hot to wet ect my washer blades have dried out meaning they dont work well anymore.
Last time i tried to fix em i broke the bracket they sit in.
My question is there an easy way to install these, and also when i go to buy some do i need a special size or model? or is it on type fits all cars??

Thanks Paul

On the end of the bracket should be a clip that holds it in.

Squeeze this and the blade should jsut slide out..

I recommend a a set of graphite coated blades. Wash them a tiny bit first coz they'll smear but after that there all good. The ones I have now were put in there about 3 years ago and are only starting to leak when wiping water now.

Also while your at it RainX your windows

ArgonEF, that RainX is awesome works really well and is easy to apply.
The new blades are a different design to the original ford ones, but they seem to work well. Thanks again guys for the help guys.

Go buy two new blade holder assemblies which come with new rubber blades
I got Bosch ones at supercheap for about $10.50 each. The wipers work like new again
