Default E-series Rule #1

Wheels.

1. Older wheels are not permitted on E-series.

Two cars in my area look terrible due to this. Once is EF with 12 slotters, that's right took of 15's to go 14". : The other is EL with EA S pack (snow flake) wheels. Looks just as bad.

In both instances the cars would've looked better with hubcaps, or just plain black steelies.

There's a few EF/ELs getting around up here with snowflakes on them. Looks absolutely wrong.

Yes I think these wheel would work on any e series, always liked them especially if they are polished.

Generally though, I would have to agree with LTDHO

I suppose everyone has different tastes, personally I agree, 12 slotters aren't for the e-series. Are there anymore rules?

And she wears them proudly! I just like them cause they are shiny 15's. Shiny is good and 15" tyres are cheap. And they do look a whole lot better than my EA S Snowflakes did. I have seen a few EF wagons with 12 slotters on. A couple of them look good I reckon. Big fat 14's on the back, looks kinda tough.

Although, if someone has some tidy 17's going cheap I would love to upgrade from the 15s.

I know of a member with an EA which has globes :P

Paintjob needs a touch up, and the globes need a tidy-up, but other than that I like it

I tried to put XC 14s (steelies) on my EB, but the buggers wouldn't fit :(

I must admit, I have been guilty of putting 12 slotter on an EA GL. I was 16 at the time, and very silly I realise, and I have learnt from my lesson. The sad part about it was the EA was that light brown poo colour and it had the stock suspension, but the 5 speed manual was fun! axle tramp galore.

A person at my work bought a tidy ED about six or so years ago and took of the 15" five spokes that came with the car to fit 14" crager replica's off her old XF. Looked awful and the rears didn't fit under the guards properly.

I guess I'll quietly shelve my idea about putting black X series 13" steelies on the EA. Probably wouldn't fit anyway.

I have seen an EF with SVO rims that actually looked good once. But as John said it is very rare.

I'd gladly swap my Simmons 16x8's for 15x8 &/or 15x10 Minilites!!!! or the same size black pursuit rims. Any takers?
