Guys
So funny. A US hoons car loses its complete rear axle when it starts bouncing on its suspension. http://www.9news.com.au/world/2015/0...ot-rod-too-far |

Apparently he is a hoon, whilst not spinning wheels, and under the speed limit.

Waste of a good coupe. Makes me wonder what went wrong for the entire axle assembly to fall out like that. The only thing I can think of the front uni joint failing causing the shaft to fall out and impale into the road, tearing out the diff??

Possible there certainly wasnt a drive shaft that came out the rear. Dear god I can only think of the mess under there now. . . .Maybe something was left loose even it would only take one side for things to go very wrong.

It wasn't in the US.
He is not a hoon. The hyenas carrying on and not taking off on a green light annoys me more then this so called hoon. You know the media is doing their job when people on car forums call people hoons because they are in a nice car and accelerated a little faster than the average joe. |

WTH? Hooning, no. Hydraulics bouncing the car, no. Looks like some sort of mechanical failure, probably U bolts and the diff started to rotate until it got spat out the back. And like hell they had to brake hard to avoid the car in front!

Reminds me of a practical joke I heard took place at a trade school for heavy construction machinery operators near my home town back in Norway many years ago.
The teacher used to 'hoon' out of the parking lot in front of the students every afternoon, and he had told the students that his rusty old wreck of a car would be sent to scrap very soon. One day they got a bright idea to borrow some of the heavy steel chains from the machinery workshop, and attach his rear axle to one of the big trees.... As usual he set off in a hurry, but that day he only made it approx. 15 metres before the rear axle suddenly came out, similar to in this video, and to great amusement for all his students watching. Don't try this trick on your mates unless they have clearly expressed that their car is ready for the scrap heap.. ;) |

Not a hoon at all,just a dckhead.
I'm sure all those who are outraged at this clown being labelled a hoon wouldn't be so outraged if his out of control car or departing components hit them or maybe even one of their kids who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some people just don't get it.
