Default Cleaning firewall drain holes

Sorry to sound like a doofus but can anyone tell me how to get to the drain holes for the channel in the firewall under the wipers. I seem to have water leaking in the passenger side and can't seem to find where they are. The car has lived under a tree for some time with the P.O. and I suspect something is blocked. It's an EF wagon. I' also like to check for litter in the A/C, any hints on doing that?
