For my ED Classic I pay $172.50 per year for RACV third party, fire & theft. I don't mind paying that amount.....Quite reasonable considering the peace of mind these days.

I hate insurance!
I'm paying $670 for my EB2 XR6 for full comp with sports exhaust listed and I'm 19. It goes down to $590 by the time I'm off my P's. I forget who I'm with, its through Austbrokers.

Also if I make a claim I proberly wont get paid out due to having extractors, pedders lows in the rear and pod filter! I'll have to be shifty...or just be careful on the roads!

I'm paying about $320 with 3rd party property. I was paying about 1/2 of that when I had my address listed as Maffra :(

Shannons are a spin out. When I fitted the extractors, I rang them up to have it added to the policy and instead of giving me any grief the person who took the call was more interested in the difference they made to performance
Great people to insure with.

I pay $398 for $5000 cover on my (new to me) EL Futura, rating 1, 70% NCB for life, no claims or traffic fines in last 3 years. About half what I was paying for the AU (though it was a v8).

Yes - shannons are great for modded cars, but more expensive for stock cars? Can't work that out really - maybe they really only want enthusiasts as their research may show that enthusiasts have less accidents than the general population???
