Pretty much the same as AUII_Forte. Collection of spanners and sockets , torque wrenches, breaker bars, 70L air compressor with tools (rattle gun & wrench, spray bottles, sand blaster, etc), stick welder ($99 repco job as well), drills, angle grinders, drill press, chunky A-frame and block & tackle. Makes work so much easier and actually enjoyable when you have all the right tools.

It makes it simple when you own your own the work shop. 90% of it is all snap-on including all of the tool chests. One two post hoist and one four poster and all of the other cra* you pick up along the way.

I have the usual stuff (screwdrivers, sockets, etc.) but post chrissy I have now a cordless drill, cordless screwdriver and decent drill bit set.
I also have some expensive Falcon specific tools, including the clutch fan spanner, rear caliper reset tool and a fuel pump lock ring remover. Combined those three are worth nearly as much as I paid for all the other tools. Tool of choice: 1/2 inch ratchet |

hmmm, im glad to say ive never been sucked in to buy snap on over priced tooles.
Sidchrome= 3/8 socket set = 1/2 socket set =A/F Ring open end spanner set =Metric ring open end spanner set =Driver set Chiargo pnumatic= rattle gun and air ratchet Thats basicly it, cheap tools are crap, dont waste youre time with them, kingchrome, sichrome, and othere middle priced brands i feel are the way to go. 99 percent of the time u wont break a tool you will lose it, so why spend 250 bucks on a snap on screwdriver set, when u can buy a 80 buck sidchrome one . |

I should have mentioned zip ties! I have a million floating round in the shed, on the car floor etc.
Duct tape is good shit as well. I reckon you could safely repair a radiator hose in the middle of nowhere with that stuff.

I dont think they are over priced. When you consider that Kingchrome and Sidchrome no longer give you a life time guarantee, all you get is a limited warrantee at the desrcstion?. With all the years i have been in the trade i would not use anyting else but that is just my way of thinking. |

i would have to agree with INJECTED_250 about cheap tools- nothin but trouble. i have bought a few diffenent el cheapo tools and will never buy the things again, especially when im dealing with sockets and spanners. |

I bought a crappy set of screwdrivers from SuperShyte. They lasted about a week... until i needed to use them; at the point the handle spun on the shaft! I'm going to buy a good set of screwdrivers when i can.
Ive had my Supercraft(?) socket and spanner set for about 3 years, and its still going strong.

Just the usual tools - have a small kit full of duplicates which rides all the time - just enough to fix a belt, hose or the like.
Fav tools would have to be the multi-purpose numbers - vice grips, adjustable spanner, grinder. But very fond of my expensive ABW pulley removing/installing tools. *sniff* favourite ratchet up on the roof at the moment following a temper-tantrum-tool-throwing/bouncing-extravaganza.
