Hi Guys,
How best do I make this forum work? How do we get a great team of mechanics together? What is important? Please let me know what would suit you.* * This could be very interesting as I'm finding people to build a great career/work opportunity in the win-win.* |

This forum is great; it's more my ability to engage with people.
What I said is my honest approach; I want to improve workplace environments for some mechanics. I have a client that needs to grow work shops. I have one mechanic who has started there and loves it. Have a great approach that we worked on for him! |

I'd suggest explaining simply what it is you want/need/discuss because while it's Friday and I managed not to hurt myself or others at work this week (it's the least I could do as a boss) I'm still in a fog of understanding what you are talking about.
Are you trying to recruit mechanics using this site? |

I need you to be a lot clearer on what you are after. If this is not forthcoming, I will have no choice but to close the thread. If you simply using this forum for the sole purpose to recruit, then that will have to stop also. |

Hi Guys - Thanks for all the feedback. I'm working to find the best way to run a workshop or two!
I've come here for a few reasons - 1. I'm working with a couple that run two successful mechanical operations. (little blurb to follow) - To make this work, I'm hoping to get some more feedback from this forum. We are working together to build the business, Im finding staff, and they are working on these businesses and own a nursery/hospital food supply operation. I mean that they are good at running businesses and know how to make them work. They have a good reputation and know how you empower the teams that make this happen. We need more mechanics and someone to coordinate/manage tyre wheel sales/ services, etc. Good mechanics who can solve problems and fix cars. Do servicing and maintenance and include /tyre/wheel solutions People to grow into other roles as the business grows. A Client Manager for service/fix/ and tyres (and Wheels) Working with the team. Solutions to clients working to solve problems. What do you guys think is the best way to work these workshops and roles? How do we find the right people who want something better? Please let me know what else to do so I can make this useful information for the forum. I guess overall I'm looking to make a better engagement of Mechanics to employers. More win-win like all good work environments. Cheers Warwick Also, As a FORD guy - It's a great place to be. Last edited by WarwickRDay; 20-01-2024 at 03:10 PM. |

If they are already running successful businesses they would know this.

I think you are looking in the wrong places, a forum is full of enthusiasts, sure there might be the odd qualified mechanic or 2, but having them in the vicinity of where you wish to operate from and be willing to leave a job for uncertainty in your new dream, you are playing lotto numbers.

As for the Lotto or Career Lotto. I can have a chat and demonstrate that this has "your lucky numbers". |
