Assumed it was a new player like Hyundai or Mercedes. Aren't they both going to introduce a ute soon?

I would of also thought it would be a new ute, or maybe one that doesn't sell very well.

I agree. I think their whole punchline is that it is none of those options. Maybe a Photon?

Mostly valid points.
Don't think its smooth enough to be a Tunland Foton. Maybe a new Great Wall? Rear doors look cramped. Or as previously said, a whole new player. Looks like no threat to Tritons; DMAXs; petrol Hiluxes; some Navaras But what it isn't, is an XR6 Ute |

The naked ute is definitely an Amarok. It's the only dualcab on the market that has five-lug wheels...

Alot of people having a guess as to what it is and have no Idea. To me Its very obvious that its an Amarok.
From the naked ute website: Navara 10% Hilux 14% Amarok 31% Colorado 18% Dmax 16% Ranger 11%

Out of the ones officially listed, I would probably guess an Amarok as well.
Not sure the idea behind the screen grab of the Navara posted above. |

The radiator bottle is unique to one brand. Washer bottle also seems to match it. Wonder if it's been emissions tested properly

I actually can't beleve there's any question in it.
Plain straight and narrow, 170% FACT that this is an Amarok. Look at the rear door shut lines, the top corner of the windscreen where it meets the roof gutters, the shape of the bonnet edge and the shape of the roof. It even looks like an Amarok with no bumper and headlight covers... Are we betting? I can't beleive so many are saying it is something else! |

Here's a tip, maybe a laugh for ford owners, if you fit amaroks with an xrox bullbar and do some heavy winching it tears that front flat panel clean off the front of them with bullbar still attached!!

Considering that non-standard headlights have been added as a decoy, how many other bits and pieces that're non-standard to the real vehicle have been added, specifically to throw people off?
I call foul.
