Hi All!
I finally got the keys to the my Focus ST on Thursday after waiting a whole 8 months. After so many different delays due to COVID-19, weather affecting the ships movements and Ford holding it for an extra month. The wait was worth it. After owning Volkswagens "performance" cars for the past 6-7 years I didn't realise how blinded I was to the fact that they're only good at doing one thing, going fast in a straight line with the benefit of AWD. The focus is seriously that switched on and precise that it is a real Hot Hatch. I got mine with the 7 speed Automatic which is the first time in a ST, I will admit I was a little scared about it being jolty or laggy. Its not the gear changes are instant and quick just without that show off "Fart" that we've all heard from those Germans. The Recaro seats are fantastic and comfortable and so is the driving position, I feel connected with the car and the road. It's amazing. Here are some pictures of her below. The colour in photos doesn't do it justice It is amazing in person. Cheers! Cougarmon! |

Looks fantastic!
Funny how you customers have got their cars in their driveway before the media embargo is lifted. So let us know what it’s like going forward.

Cheers to everyone for their kind words! Got to have a proper drive around today and It's just getting more and more exciting each time. At the moment I have little to complain about apart from the usual uses too much petrol when I accelerate at a fast rate... I will keep you guys in the loop and provide updates.
Apparently according to my local Ford Dealership that anyone who ordered the Focus last year with a deposit was able to get theirs as the banks will release them (Guaranteed Sale). As for the rest that are either here in Australia or arriving. They will put kept in a holding yard and won't be released to the dealers until late July/Early August. Cheers! |

Is that a torque convertor transmission or a dual clutch robotised auto and or your comments on how the auto performs.
I m super jealous by the way! |

It's the same regular auto as the 8 speed in the regular Focus, except it doesn't use one of the gears, making it a 7 speed.
Something to do with the turbo torque making one of the gears next to useless. |

Car looks great cougarmon, Glad I went with the Blue, can’t wait for delivery. Been advised car has been built awaiting shipping. How’s the auto perform?

And gone are 3 Models from the Focus range so Ford Australia are hedging their bets on the ST. Have there been any Focus ST T.V. Ads yet?
