Default Ka central locking problem

Hi all,

My first post here - hope someone can help. My mother in law has a Ka and the central locking has packed up. Once locked you can't unlock it from the drivers door. The motor makes a whirring sound but nothing happens. If you try the passenger side the CL goes mad - whirring and clicking for ages but still it won't open. Only way in is through the rear hatch and pull the handle on the inside.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Try pulling the interior door trims off both doors and see if it's anything obvious that has come adrift.

Sounds similar to the door actulator problem that happened on the EFs. AS above stated, if nothing seems out of the norm you may need a new actualator
