After the likes of the Noble Park threads and a few other things that I have read I regret to say that I am no longer a member of the E Series Club.
I shall take the stickers from the Sprint and maybe join a Tickford Club. I am really over all of the illegal activitys on the road that the majority seem to be wanting to support ......... 'Im just going to look' doesnt cut it for me .... if you didnt go to watch it wouldnt happen ..... Goodbye E Series |

Hey Lisa, I know how you feel mate. Unfortunately it only takes a few select people to ruin it for the rest of us, and make other e-series owners/members look terrible.

Rough call mate, there are a lot of good E series guys that anybody would be proud to stand next to, the fact they publicly don't support the actions and by closing threads bears testiment to this.

By the way, I saw a ED XR6 there two weeks ago with some tickford club sticker on it at noble park, and many respected people from these forums with every type of car ranging from older ones (from the 70's) and BA's.

I can understand why people want out. I'm not opting out because I enjoy the cruises, and lots of the meets, plus I have made many friends in the club. I just enjoy a nice scenic drive (the main reason I've preferred weekend cruises over the nightime city ones). There is more to enjoying these cars than burnouts. The Noble Park Maccas incidents don't make me feel proud to be associated with the club, but you just have to remember it's the minority that are involved in the hooning.

if I was in Vic, I'd be removing all signs of club affiliation, stickers and the like.. Watch the force come down HARD on car clubs now after that disgraceful showing at Maccas..
** I should say it isn't just E'Series as a club I am talking about here..

Sorry that some people feel they need to leave the club.
Let me assure you that the Club does not support the activities being discussed in the Noble Park threads and have been monitoring them and closing them when necessary. This thread will remain open for now, but if it degenerates into a slinging match it will be closed.

Sundeep you are one of the main offenders who have taken this club to the low low place that it is now ......
I am not whinging .... I have been a member for a long time .... I may not have the post count that you do but you know I have been here for years. You and many others are draging the reputation of the club to depths that we have never seen before .... once the like of you have left it I may and only may join again. I feel sorry for anyone in Victoria who has club stickers as the authorities are going to be all over you lot ......... Damn hoons spoil it again for the few who actually enjoy their vehicles properly. |
