Default wind noise at 170 plus

Hey guys an girls hypatheticaly when i do 170 plus in my 95 ef the doors start to vibrate slightly from the wind going under the seals living in the country and hypatheticaly doing these speeds on a regular basis it is realy annoying is it the same for all the e series cars or are my door seals or something shot ?
Any help would be great as it is annoying.

well all i can suggest is to maybe hypathetically :voldar02: get new seals through the doors, might help. i havent ever had any problems going over 170...except for losing my license :S

I also hypothetically hope you a) are doing this in the N.T or b) Lose your licence very soon and have to fork out a lot of money.

I ran my car at the recent dyno day and it was pegged out at 204kmh (i think) no wind noise at all.... wierd.

on a serious note, look at your door hinges, pannel gaps, rubber quality and possably adjust the striker position.

I also have the wind noise but not at that speed (between 80 - 110)..
Apparently mine is the alignment or something like that (getting fixed in New Year).......
Could be your seals though, check them and see if they look warn and crappy.
But mind you, why on earth would you need to go at that speed 'regularly' anyway????????????

I Suggest that if it doesn't make the noise at the speed limit, then you should try sticking to the speed limit. I had Ef once. It felt at 115 that it would fall apart at 120.

You will find that the '95 falcon wasn't designed to travel that fast after 10 years!

you would be surprised how much quieter the car is at speed if it is clean....

yer my EB has the same thing between 160-200 but i just turn up the sterio, this is on the test track aswell
