Default Ed Xr6 Ecu

Found this on ebay cheap as!!!! Gave my mate's a fair kick when he installed one into his ED Classic.

wow i thought that was cheap till i saw auto. they're a good investment if you want to run a lumpy cam. better spark and fuel maps gives a nice idle and better response and probably a little better power with the 300kPa fuel reg. the main difference i've found is the idle with cams. i'm running a wade 1636 on stock valve springs, on a manual xg xr6 ecu behind a t5. my idle is a solid WUB-WUB-WUB-WUB, where as other cars on the base ecu with similar cams are really chuggy and hunt around a bit.

good idea. i rang Ford with the part number from the supposed xg xr6 ecu i was about to. i was naturally sceptical as they made about 400 xg xr6's. however the guy confirmed over the phone it was an 'xg xr6 utility, five speed, 3.45 limited slip diff' ecu. was pretty happy finding it to complete the manual conversion.
