Default Au Ignition system

Hello All,

I am just wondering if anyone can point me to a good source of information for the ignition system in an AU.

Or if anyone can tell me how the system operates?

I have noticed that the key and locking systems are attached to the BEM and that the BEM is attached to the EEC V system.

From the point that the key is inserted into the ignition barrel what happens in terms of the BEM?

Does the BEM send a signal to the EEC V to start the engine or does the EEC V receive this directly from the ignition barrel?

Any information would be great.
