Default widest wheels on e-series

hey guys just wondering what the widest wheels that can fit onto an ea or ef, i have a set of 20inch rims inmind, but there 8.5inches wide, will i be able to fit them all round? will there have to be any guard mods?

guard mods will depend on how far u will lower the car as far as im aware

265 on the rears is pretty close to the widest you can go without serious mods, i have 265 on the rears of mine with no mods to the gaurds at all, but rolling the fronts is a must with lowered suspension

You might want to find some pics of e series with 20's on, personally 20's are to big and dont suit; they even look weird on BA's.

No they dont. especially not on BA's. JetXR had 20"s didnt he? They look mad.
Mate youll have no problems fitting them, but if u plan on lowering it, definately get ur guards rolled as efgiar said.

should of mentioned there for my EA but i might chuck them on the EF every now and again.

its allready lowered, got kings super lows all round with koni adjustable shocks and half a coil went missing one day from the rear springs, so its pretty friggin low.

how big is 265 interms of rim inch's? i know i can fit 8inch wide no probs. arent el gt mags 8.5 and people fit them to EA's.

Yer the original EL GTs are 8.5" Wide.

Adxr8 has put 285's under the rear and 245's on the front of his EB. That thing is so low that most people on here would strugle to ever get thier cars as low as his.
