Default QLD WILLOWBANK T&T RUN 18/08/2007

I am thinking of taking the falcon with the new set out for a run at the T & T at willowbank on the 18th of August, just wanted to see what interest their is from the B series crew to come and run their cars or watch.
cheers
Jason

“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Well cant make the 18th ,so went out tonight to put some Full street trim No,s on the board ..... Last time i ran 15.06 @ 93.6mph and went slower every pass after that. No aircleaner ,No zorst , No fuel , No spare ......
Tonight.. Full tank of fuel , Full zorst(cat included : )Spare wheel, Pod in box, Street tyres 36psi all round ...... 15.000@ 94.8mph/ 15.01@ 93.7mph /15.02 @ 91.4mph ..... Not overly happy with the results & when i shifted into 2nd on the last run pulled 3rd by mistake and there is the result. 60 foot improved to 2.21 over 2.31, mph increments and 660ft timers say i WOULD have run 14.89? @ 95+ mph? Changed gears at 5500rpm because i heard that is what Doug changed at on his historical pass, next time 6200rpm no ifs no buts, really expected a low 14 tonight Oh well , maybe next Wed ? Pity i cant make it Sat .... : Cheers .....

Come on Jason , can we hit it next Wed ??? Not fair i miss out on this Dyno day AND next sat as well...... Tell ya what seriously thinking about forced induction now after last night. The guys from the turbo forums were really cool - even cheering me on , Candy got some awseome burnout videos , but alas NO traction : Next time the weight comes out , we know what it does street trim now ,and the bizarre thing is it FEELS really quick on the street : ....

Sorry buddy cant do wednesday nights to much running with the girls and all, would be closing time before I get out there, did think of last night but the girls and I were throwing up all day yesterday so that kinda put paid to that idea.

Turbo would be nice but I am one to challenge what I have and thats the n/a 6, gluten for punishment ;; YEP ::

Question, what is the set up you have now and when you stall up and take off what type of wheel spin do you get, in first or is it first to second etc etc?

Ran against the same ute all 3 runs. Did a burnout and he goes straight into prestage every time - ridiculous : I was trying to find the best stall speed to leave at But pressed for time to find it : But i think 1500 seemed the best , still spins all the way to 80 and actually got sideways on very pass shifting manually into second ,hauls like a train up top and i was convinced i saw over 160 each pass at the lights - Street trim std stall 3.45 gears open centre ,full tank of fuel jack spare etc. Upside is it WILL go quicker from now on , because i will NEVER run it in this configuration again ... :
