I won't say how much it costs yet, I haven't added it up. There's basically no labour costs as SPHELL and I did all the work. If I paid someone to do it it would have cost double and I don't think I would have got the same result. Sundeep |

ahhhh ya know, not that long ;) Finished it this arvo, we just put that pic up to get ya's all going hehe : . It's just about all put back together, just have to swap the interior over tomorrow and give it a clean to get all the rubbing back dust out of the door jams. But seriously, it took about 2 weeks off and on with 3 solid days work at the end. That teaser pic we put up earlier was at the spray booth at about 10:30PM last night when we ran out of basecoat! Had 4.5hrs sleep last night then were back down there this morning at the paint shop gettin them to mix up some more Envi. This first pic is of the car this morning. We had to take it out of the booth and rub it back again with 1200 wet and dry otherwise there was a chance the basecoat I sprayed today wouldn't stick cause the car had sat for 10 hrs without any paint being applied. These pics give you an idea of the shine after about 4 coats of clear. Spraying the clear coat is awesome, it just brings the colour to life. Sunny's brother, Sam, reckons it looks aiiight! The car fresh outta the booth and with the bars and lights just sitting in place tryin not to scratch anything Back at Sunny's place we slapped on the new ED rear end. Looks a treat compared to the crappy grey EA garnish. Just had to re-wire the tail lights...piece of **** And this is where were at as of tonight, sorry about the pic it was getting dark. All the handles and glass are back in the doors, C-pillars back on, wire looms run into the doors etc etc. Doing the interior tomorrow....more pics to come.... Cheers Doug. |

that looks very hot indeed.
But one question hasn't been answered..how much was it for booth and paints? I really want to know because I plan to get my exterior re-done. My interior, engine bay and the rest is good but my roof is patchy and I have a few scrapes here and there. PM me if you prefer.

Great choice of colour and excellent job guys! Some ******* opened their car door onto the ED last night so you've inspired me to give her a new colour.
