Default BA XR8 scuff plates fit into E series

Hi just wondering would BA xr8 Scuff plates fit straight into replace the E series crapy plastic scuff plates ?? has anyone done this ? what kind of trimming would it involve if any! cheers

i measured my parents AU scuff plates and its all different sizes so i'd say no, they wouldnt fit, but really anything is possible so have a crack at it!

i think they're shorter then eseries ones, so won't cover up everything.
i havnt confirmed it but thats the impression i'm under.

You can buy fully sik bro chrome scuff plates off ebay for around $150 for a set of 4.. Here is a pic..

yeh the BA ones are shorter and they wont cover everything, plus the screws will be in different spots.

Those ebay silver scuff plates only stick on to your existing plastic ones. It would be good if they were an actual replacement.

i checked with the suplier and they dont have the ford logos on them, if anyone can find a replacement logo, let me know.

you could get stickers made up for them with that jelly stuff over the top.
