Hey guys after much procrastinating.. im selling my EB XR6..
Im after something fresh.. I originally wanted an R33 Gts-t skyline.... but after many test drives of skylines with 320rwhp i just wasnt satisfied... I just dont think i can convert from the good old aussie falcon... Ive got about 20k to spend... what do you guys reckon i should do... just after some advice.. thanks, Brad.

if i had 20k to spend i would go for an BNR32 GTR kinda old now most of the old version of the RB26DETT would need a rebuild and thats not cheap!
but i would consider an BA XR6T i dont know how much that would set u back mate but those are ideas that came in2 my head

R33 = Jap Taxi
Try a Ceffy/Laurel/ Old school Soarer with a 1jz. Or go a stroker

its debatable could spent 20k on a i6 and drivetrain and put out 600+hp or you could go for a blown stroker.. it comes down to personal liking

Clevo all the way...

Turbo 6... when you're off the pedal they're quiet, idle smoothly, have the same fuel economy as any other Falcon 6 and you have that awesome midrange when you want it.
Mind you, nothing beats the sound of a decent 8!

Well i guess theres always the option of keeping me EB XR6 it has an AU XR6 engine... but the body is getting old and moving on....
What would cost for a full body make over... like all dents and rust out and repsray... Then a turbo kit and ECU... would that fit in the budget of 15k - 20k?

VX SS 5.7lt, or save up another 5k and get yourself a VX R8 Clubsport or a XR6 Turbo. Your average R33 wouldn't stand a chance against any of these cars.

turbo 6 would be fun yes.. but just think of the insanely huge grin you'll get each morning as u plomp your ar5e into your car, turn the key and 8 cylinders of firey hell awaken and just taunt you to stomp your right foot down...

I guess it depends on what you plan on using the car for? Daily Driver = Turbo 6 - smooth, quiet and economical when driven sedately but turns into a monster when needed. Weekender = Blown 8 - tuff, sounds awesome but chews fuel... Quote:

Might pay to think of insurance issues etc up front. Aside from that it all depends on what you like. BOV's or big cams and a lumpy idle. My Turbo EF feels and sounds a bit too much like a taxi to me, that is until I open it up.
I seriously considered going the cammed LS1 route, and probably still will. Afterall lets face it. What's better, an LS1 or windsor... |

Make it an R34 or BNR32 GTR both cheap these days! Or if you want a 4 door still get a JZX100 Chaser (1JZ-GTE VVTI, auto or manuall) or Aristo (2JZ-GTE, auto). That would be my choices. |
