Default Happy Australia Day???

As the title suggests, should I smile and "Carry On Regardless?"

Well, I worked today, surprise surprise. And when I got home, all hell broke loose. Firstly, I am very upset about an incident with my Son, that has seen us part ways it seems. That was the day before my birthday, but an ongoing saga best left untold. This gut wrenching ache is still present, and when I get home today, my partner is totally devastated over the loss of 3 budgies to our Jack Russell. He got to them somehow??????

She took one survivor to the vet and got it put down. Then came home and sobbed 'till I came home. Then I notice this on her car.

She was so upset over today's events that se never noticed some kind degenerate excuse for a human being had hit her car and run. This is the 3rd time 2 years I have had to cop it sweet for motherless fwits that have no consideration for others. If I catch the wonderful entity that did this, the rest of friends may have to visit me in Her Majesty's Motel.

I am not only mortified at this weeks events, but my trust in my fellow man has dropped another notch or two.

Big (happy) Kev.

Sorry to here that mate but keep ya chin up because the sun shines after the rain.
a word of advice from me though birds dont do well with dogs and cats. we had 7 finches and 2 budgies in 2 seperate large cages, after a week of the cats picking at them trying to get a hold of them the dog used brute force to knock the cage over and get them it aint a big dog either just a terrior.

is your partners car insured?

That's what the Russle did, he was the only dog interested in them, and his patience ran out.

Her car is insured, but I'm ****ed that I have to claim.

I feel for you. My wifes fiesta got "coined" just before christmas by some piece of dog ****. The excess on the insurance was $330. The cost to repair $370 dollars. Next years premium up by $100 if we claimed. ( we couldn't name the offending piece of dog ****). We copped it on he chin and paid out of our own pocket.

I hope things work out with your boy. Probably, he is hurting as much as you. Give it time. At least things can only get better.

Cheers.

I got no call on Fathers Day last year, nothing Xmas Day, nothing New Years Day and no Happy Birthday (2 days ago). That hurts, and I have done nothing but try to help him through his current situation. Give me a dog every time.

Yeah, I can see how that would hurt. "Kids" can be incredibly cruel sometimes.
Good luck with it all.
