Default Slicks or Street MT's

Hello All,
Has any one used both proper racing slicks and MT stickey street tyres. My car is a TC Cortina with a Clevo and is light in the rear. It's not a big HP car but should run mid 12's. Ideally I want to buy the MT sticky street tyres so I dont have to change tyres at the track, but if it is going to make a difference of more than 2/10's I'll go for the full slicks. Car is not tubbed at all. Any feed back is appreciated.
Cheers

Keep in mind you MUST run same type construction tyre front and back !!!
Which is why I run street radial on my Falcon.. Traction is still an issue however..
If you can run crossplys on the front ?? The I would go with MT or whatever brand on the back...Which are crossplys.. The car will wander all over the track with radial fronts, MT slicks on the back...
Not a good thing at over over 100 mph...

I've run both. For a 12 second car def go the street ET Radials.
You will loose no time and car will handle so much better. With slicks running 10psi you need a heap of revs or tire speed for them to handle ok.
