Default Family Day - Cruise to Zig Zag Railway

Ok Guys and Girls,
Family Day Cruise to the Zig Zag Railway.

Yes - Family Day, so its driving Miss Daisy!!!

Event Date:
Trip to the Zig Zag Railway Sunday 5th June-2005
*********This is Rated a Family Day********
TIME PLACE

9:30am Meeting at the Car Park of the Ettamogah Pub
- Cnr Merriville Road & Windsor Road, Kellyville. ...
-
10:00am Depart Car Park Turning Left onto Windsor Rd Follow for 14kms
* Turn Left into Macquarie st (Windsor), Travel along for 1km turning right into Richmond Rd, Travailing past the RAAF Base (Richmond).
* Drive for 6km then turn left into East Market St then 200mts turn Right into March St
* March St turns into Kurrajong Rd then changes again into Bells Line of Road.
* Beware Speed Camera Operates 24 hours in 60km zone at Kurrajong Heights.
* Drive for 69 km turning right into Zig Zag Railway Driveway then left into Car Park.
* Park Car and get ready for BBQ Lunch YUM YUM
* BBQ area and Toilets available at Zig Zag Station
Costs
• Fuel 150kms
• Lunch $5.00 Sausage in a Roll and Drink
• Discounted Tickets $18.00 Adults ,Children $8.00 under 5 Free or Family Pass 2 Adults up to 3 Children $50
•
Notes
• Please be at the meeting point on time as we will be trying to leave at 10:00am sharp.
• Bring this sheet along with you on the day as it may help if you get lost or left behind somehow.
• When you arrive at the meeting place make sure your car is full of petrol so you do not have to stop mid cruise.
• If we can all drive with our lights on, as it is easier to see each other.
(Also looks as if were all part of a cruise, or a funeral, but hopefully a cruise)
• If you have CB radio’s bring them along (and batteries)
Channel 14 is the Official FPV– Tickford Club Crusing Channel.
• It will be ON, rail / hail or shine.

Alright this should be a top day, lets just hope the weather is going to be good for us as it more than likely will be a cool sort of a day up there.

Do many members have kids? If I bring mine (2 & 4yr old) along and there is no one to play with, they might feel a bit ripped off..

There Should be Plenty of Kids,as that is why we are trying to have more Family Days.

You can put me down for 2 adults and 1 child (7 year old ). It is my boy's B'Day and what better a day could he have than on a Steam Train with the FPV club. He is a true Ford Supporter :party3:

Excellent day out well organised weather was great until later on in the day it got cold half of us blew our loads thanks to the Aston martin :sm_headba : parked in the carpark at the railway track "nice to have a spare 400"lying around anyways look forward to the next one.
