Im heading up to coolangatta in a couple of weeks for the Wintersun festival,anyone else heading there....should get some great pics...will share them here when I get home.....Thats if I come home lol

At 10 AM on Monday 17th May, The Hon Virginia Judge, Minister for the Arts, Peter Besseling MP for Port Macquarie and dignitaries from Port Macquarie - Hastings Council, NSW Events, and The Wintersun Festival represented by the Festival Chairman Don Rafton, and Festival Director Barry McNamara officially announced that Wintersun 2011 will be held from 3rd to 13th June in Port Macquarie, New South Wales.

After more than a year of careful deliberations The Wintersun Festival Committee has entered into an agreement with Events NSW to stage an annual Wintersun Festival in regional NSW for initially the next three years.

2 cars stolen last year they were just driven away monaro recovered ,hotrod I beleive is still missing, I personally think both were stolen by joyriders.
2 cars stolen the year before and these were more professional as they were beleived to be put on wheel dollies and then pulled up on to tilt trays 1 car
(Genuine big dollar GT) was found gutted and then burnt out the other I beleive was not recovered.
I will be there this year in my eliminator 2nd year in a row I love my car just as much as any other enthusiast but I will not hide it.
If they really want your car they will find a way to obtain it unfortunately.

Go every year, the cars are awesome!!! Go with my mate who dons the Elvis wig and sunnies and I grow the sideburns in two months out, grease the hair and have a ball. Last year my mate sung a couple of Elvis songs in a Karaoke contest and won a prize...this year he's going in the full Elvis impersonator contest...it's his dream to quit his job and become an impersonator! Cracks me up! He's already booked accom at Port Mac next year, and he's not even into cars!!
Am hoping to have the ZG on the road for a cruise around before the usual drool at cars, pub for a drink, back to car porn, drink, rinse and repeat....
