Does anybody know if there are amber coloured front indicators available for the EF or even EL falcons?
You know the clear part that sits beside the actual headlight? I want a similar look like this on my EF: EDIT: Sorry guys hopefully the pic works now. Last edited by GTS_300_Coupe; 19-07-2007 at 08:14 PM. |

as above, link not working.....but from what i can gather you're asking if EF/EL's had an amber indicator lens like EA-ED's did...........if thats your question then no, they're all clear lenses

what i suggest you do is pull the original EF/EL indicator apart, as in taking off the lense, and paint the inside the indicator housing orange and the put it back together, it will give you about 90% the same look as in that pic

and if your ef/el is like nearly every other one on the road, the lense should just pull off with slight pressure, i cannot count how many indicator assembly's i have re-glued back together, or just replaced entirely

They are actually meant to run the amber globes in them that are readily available from all motor spres stores.

Question is why would you want amber indicators, even if it is on the inside. You do that and you'll be taking 10 steps backwards in making your car look nice.
On a side note I'm in love with that red Mustang!

ok.. from the pic, the lens is clear and its either running an amber filter inside or just the amber globe reflecting off the reflective surface....
if you removed the lens, and removed the inner lens, then added an amber globe, you'd get the desired look |
