Hey guys,

I am considering getting one of your CAI's for my BFII F6.

Just want to know what I can expect from it in terms of improvements/increases in induction sound, throttle response and power gain.

Also when I had my car tuned by you guys in late Feb, you said that my fuel pump was pretty dodgy and wasn't performing as well as you expect. You said I would require a new one or an in tank fuel pump if I was to try and mod my car further. So I was wondering what the cost is for that, I have $150 stuck in my head from a previous discussion with Theo.

Also would I require a retune with the new CAI and fuel pump?

historically we avoid pushing the CAI onto a turbo too quickly because the money put towards the CAI can be effectively applied towards a Plazmaman kit, which includes an air intake, piping kit and cooler. This dispenses with the inefficient crossover and makes for a much more pleasurable vehicle.

then in other cases, we have the people who wish to retain somewhat of a stealth appearance, necessitating the retention of the factory crossover. If this is your predicament, than the CAI is the mod for you. It will help the turbo to spool faster, and there will be more turbo induction noise. RRP is $650 fitted, but being a loyal BPR customer im sure we can organise a special deal. As for retuning, you will only be paying a small fee for the dyno as you have already purchased custom tuning for your vehicle.

With fuel systems there are many many options, in fact too many to list here, please feel free to drop me a line and we can discuss something that will be applicable to your scenario.

Thanks for the chat the other day, some great advice given.

I'm going to put the mods on hold for both the short and medium term but will hopefully be able to organise something down the track so you guys can make my car go just a little faster
