Hey dude.. i am doing a custom body kit for my ED.. The front BA XR bar onto my ride is done and it was really easy.. Looks the shiznat too.. I am thinking of doing a BF XR bar and selling the BA one..
I have just started the rear bar.. BA XR bar.. and all i need then is the side skirts.. Cheers, Nik

i have used the stock ED light.. basically done the same as John (EFFalcon).. Used the top half of a ED bar and the bottom half of a BA XR bar and grafted the 2 together.. suits the car really well.. i got most of the rear done today..
No pics yet.. i plan on releasing pics when she is all done.. just incase i dont like it with the full kit.. Cheers, Nik

The scorcher kit would look way better than the BA kit it would suit it more.

im going to me making myself a ED/BA front bar soon too.
just need to win the BA front bar on ebay. i'll be using the ED top part of bumper and plastic welding it to the bottom part of the BA XR bumper. and im thinking of getting it fibreglass moulded. if it turns out good value ill be selling them to perth people for what it cost me to mould (plus about $20 to cover fuel and other little expenses) ill let you know how it goes |

Hey tocchi..
I have looked at having a mould made already mate but the prob is you can't get RWC with a full fibreglass bar on our cars mate.. Plus the brackets to hold it on are a real *****.. But i am sure you will see wat i mean.. LOL.. Cheers, Nik

RWC is like the check to see if your car is safe to be on road.. then you can register it.. everything from seats to tyres are checked for more info do a search..
Reason i was told is because the standard bars have intrusion bars/bracing in them.. by removing them you effectively reduce how "safe" the car is.. That is why most body kits for our cars are just a add-on to the standard bar.. Cheers, Nik
