hey guys, just got home and heard a bit of a tapping noise coming from under the bonnet while my car is idling. any ideas what it could be?
i cant really give any more info, although i'll try to help out as much as i can.

tap tap tappets? Injectors? Piece of plastic hitting the thermos? Can you get the ole screwdriver out and have a listen to the rocker cover and injectors?

it could possibly be the lifters if it's like a slight clicking noise

hydraulic latch adjusters, what ever they are called, they are common and tap like a b*tch when they stuff up
