Default Not the best christmas present,

Got woken Christmas morning by a phone call letting me know my car now looked like this:

used to look like this

Id left it at the train station carpark christmas eve around 6:30pm and it was found like this at about 4am. Still enjoyed the day though just minus my car.

No wasnt covered for this, only had third party property on it. I also had the wiring looms, AC and seats that are from the ghia, so now ill have to get all those parts when it comes time to put it on the road.

Jesus Brent that's horrible. A friend had a car badly damaged at a train station with stupid kids jumping on the roof and dinting every panel, but this is the worst case scenario. Sorry to see it.

And everyone remember that railway stations are only safe during daylight hours, if you have a security system.

My god. I just cant believe that. I cant imagine how you must have felt.

Can somebody set up a paymate/paypal account? I'm happy to donate some $$ to help out.

Would anybody else be able to? Perhaps even some parts to help rebuild an ea? For that to happen at all is absolutely terrible, for it to happen on christmas day is down right sad. Surely if everyone gets together and donates even $5 it will have to help!

EDIT: There is over 11,000 members, if each member donated as little as .50c.. he'd have $5,500 towards a new car

I can't believe anyone would be so low to do such a thing on Christmas morning, are they born without hearts? I am so sorry you have to start again and that your pride and joy has been destroyed. Did they take it for a joy ride steal the bits they wanted and then burn it? how low!

Christ bad luck, that looked like a really clean EA.

Best of luck for 2006 anyway, it seems that 2005 was a pretty bad year for everyone.

Sorry to hear of that Brent. I remember your car from the Bathurst cruise. It was a nice EA.

Hopefully the scum that did this will get whats coming to them sooner rather than later.

Taking the head! What a bunch of weirdos don't they know the wreckers down Richmond way or the hundreds of E-series hanging around Penruff where they can get if for cheap.

Which train station was it? Being the mountains chances are that the liddle bastards came from the plains, but as far as Hazo!

Did you have a club lock or anything extra?

Condolences. It so unfortunate this model is so prone to stealing.

Car thieves are low life scum and are treated lightly by our absurd court systems...
Hope your next car is just as good, you had a really nice car.

Best of luck for the new year.
