Hey Guys,
Tonite, was my first time ive ever dragged, at Calder Park..., was nervous, worried, was hoping for a high 14, n at the start it wasnt looking that way, spinning half track, had 40 psi in back tires, n just couldnt third here n there, stalled it a few times too on the line, but, finally, on my last run, i managed a 14.7 @ 95mph after i dropped the tire pressure n had a few goes (6 to be exact), i am very happy with that time, it feels about right for the amount of rwkw...i just want to say, thanks to Ian, for all his help, what a great man, real good guy, you rock ! thank you guys for an excellent night, am looking forward to it again in the near future! - Grechie I'm Number 6000, Here It Is!

Yeah awesome work! If you drop your tyre pressures to about 22-25psi and do a nice big skid on the black stuff (start inthe water then crawl out onto the bitumen) you should be right for a 2.0 or 1.9sec 60ft, which will be a 14.5
Get out there and keep trying! |

Hey Grechie well done.
just a question what part would u contribute that good time to (turbo) or was it a combo of everything. and how much do u think you have spent to get it to that level. i know these may be stupid questions but i have 2 learn somehow lol cheers matt |

when he mentiond psi, thats tyre pressure. by dropping the tyre pressure a bit, ur getting more tread touching the track, hence more traction

I am looking at spending around $2,500-$3,000 on my head soonish...
Head shave, port / polish, wade 1636 cam, and vernier cam gear... Then see what type of Aftermarket ECU i'll get... I too will be aiming for high compression... I heard of an ECU that slots into your origional ECU caddie... Anyone remember what that was called? (complete swap over from the standard ECU, tuneable from laptops)
