i think they are around 200-250ish kgs (including all accessories, but minus manifolds)... I cant find the invoice from when i got my motor shipped from melbourne...

Base model EF Falcon V8 = 1591KG
Base model EF Falcon I6 = 1560KG 1591KG - 1560KG = Same spec I6 equipped car is 31KG lighter Bare 302W = (460lb approx * 0.453) = 208KG(google figure could be wrong). So if we attribute that 31KG difference in the EF Falcon to the engine alone we end up with a 177KG engine weight for a bare I6. That's assuming all the engine accessories, auto, etc are roughly the same weight in both cars. Which is a BIG assumption. That's my extremely rough guess which is most probably wildly inaccurate. I'll be interested to see if my guesstimate comes out close. |

It's ~200 kg. I think the figure quoted with the EA was 212-213.
