Default Netflix but no British

SWMBO decided we wanted Netflix...its still on months trial but I get fussy with movies and prefer quality british movies and TV shows. Can I get these on Netflix? What about Stan?

Both have British sections and Stan should also have a 30 day free trial?

I got them mainly for T.V series and I prefer Stan slightly in that regard.

If you get a vpn like Getflix you can switch regions of Netflix and watch the British version.

I use amazon fire stick tv with voice command prompt which is like a usb memory stick that plugs into hdmi port and connects wifi to router, i pay for amazon prime and netflix subscriptions but have jailbroken the stick with kodi and use that to stream sports and whatever i may not be able to get on prime/netflix - i used to use my laptop hooked up with hdmi but going this way removes unnecessary cabling etc and means i dont have to sit there finding a good stream - yeh i pay for prime/netflix but that is only like $20/month and the quality is better - i pay for and use a dns encryption service from memory that was like $70 for 2 years - this means i can watch everything prime/netflix has on offer throughout the world with no restrictions.

you do need a good ISP and good modem for this to work well - ie minimal buffering with good quality.

one caveat - it took several days to set it all up and get working and syncing properly.

In basic terms, a VPN is a service which 'hides' your computers IP address which allows you to choose where in the world you want your computer to be identified from.

Services like Netflix use your IP address to determine which country's service you'll get. So if you choose the United States as your 'location' on the VPN it will give you that country's version of Netflix.

It's not illegal as you're still paying Netflix. They try to stop it by using countermeasures to appease the larger studios, but not very hard. If you use a bigger VPN service such as Getflix, they generally over come any countermeasures in a matter of hours lol.
