My new turbo came in the mail today, its a little bit smaller than the other one. The goal is to get rid of all lag and have boost just off idle. This should cut down my 60' time heaps. : Depending how it goes the other turbo may be up for sale soon.
Here are the pics:

Yeah, it'll cut the lag from idle, but kill the top end that your current turbo gives.. The small one will run out of legs quickly..

Certainly doesn't look as impressive as the big fella, but we'll soon see how it goes, I hope ;)

Should be good though. What cooler do you run?

Run both!
Yes I'm serious! Have the small one cut out when the big one spools up. |

Luke is on the money but the rest of you were sucked in. The turbo is way too small for the falcon. It might be big enough to take 2 cylinders
It is going on my mini. The turbo is a T2 off of a pulsar. A mate and I are doing a budget install on the mini, We expect the total conversion to come in under $400 using parts solely from wreckers. The goal is for 140 hp at the front wheels. I have a spare worked NA engine that will go in when this one breaks. And it will break. A guy I know ran a 13.9 with 130hp at the wheels with a jap engine conversion. Im not after that kind of reliability though . It will be good fun and if it holds together it will be at the heathcote day.

haha, that would be a bit oversized. I dont think I can fit it in the engine bay let alone get it to spool. Im after low down boost with this setup. One of goals is to be able to smoke the tires on the spot. : I cant wait to get started on it.

Turbo mini? Thats just plain f---ing cooool, that thing is gonna rock! I saw the little turbo and thought it might be slightly too big for my little bro's XR400 ;), but hey, a turbo'd mini is an awesome idea!
