Hi All,
Couldn't find anything through here, but I'm sure it's been asked before, can an EF/EL T5 be used in an AU? I've read that the bellhousing bolts up differently, but apart from that, does the gear lever come up through the same hole? Everything else go in ok? Thanks, Justin.

No I think the gear level sits back a bit further in the AU
|

the bellhousing is longer thats why the shifter dosnt line up!

Forgot all about this thread, but just thought I'd update.
Apparently it can be done. An AU I was trying to buy had an EF T5 in it. I couldn't get too much out of the owner, but all he knows is that 2 of his mates spent a day or so modifying everything to fit.

The difference is the rear extension housing, it's longer on the AU.
