Default EB brakes locked on

hey, after my recent crash, its come to my attention that my brakes seem to be permanently on... i have never dealt with any brake issues before, besides changing the pads... does anyone know what could cause this from a head on crash? also not sure if its hand brake or not? : any ideas?

is ur handbreak on?? - sorry, had to do it.

do you know if it is the handbreak or calipers? first thing i would check for is a seized caliper. like when u are changing the pads, to fit the new ones in, you need to push the piston back in, check that they are all going back inside the caliper. once this is done, flush your fluid until it comes out clean.

Theres a lever under the drivers door under the car that releases the handbrake if its that. I think you pull it towards the rear.

If its the handbrake you should should still be able to drive but you'll wear out the pads. If you cant get the car moving at all even with engine force than theres something wrong with the calipers I'd say.

Can you pull the handbrake on are does it feel loose? I know I pulled my handbrake on one day and it snapped the cable. So my handbrake was stuck on and I couldnt take it off by the handbrake lever ( EB lever). I found the lever under the car which releases the handbrake.
