Hey guys,
Interested to find out how much info I can get from Ford about my F100's options etc from new. I've gone factory-theme on the engine bay with period Autolite/Motorcraft stickers etc, and I want to get one of those period dealership stickers from Grand Tourer. I know with GTs etc you can get a report from Ford about the factory options, selling dealer etc, I was wondering if they provided this service for other less rare cars, like F-trucks or Fairlanes. If they do, I'd also like to know who to contact to get the info. Cheers! Nick

Called 13FORD, spoke to a nice foreign gentleman who told me my F-truck's VIN was not correct and that my old late '77 ZH was in fact an early '76 XC sedan. For the potential lose. He's going to send the numbers to the lab or archives or whatever and endeavour to get me some more info...

Sweet as... My old Fairlane came from Nowra of all places...
The bloke from Ford said my truck was sold from dealer number 1507, but they don't have any record of who that actually was. Does anyone on here have access to that sort of thing?

Odd that they don't keep dealer names.

Brian in the archives might have the answer (that's where questions go to when 13FORD are stumped) however he only works Wednesdays, unless that's changed recently. I was told they were a bit light on historical data for the f trucks but hopefully they can dig something up.

They do keep the names - Maclean Ford in Nowra is 2253, for instance... They just don't have a record of dealer 1507. Weird!
How does one get in contact with Brian?

Dealer 1507 (unknown dealer) only sold 1 GT Falcon. An XB GT.I would guess it was a small dealer who wasnt operating for long.Dealer codes are not in order & to make it worse they recycle them.
