Talking New engine for BC escort 1978

I currently jave the Original 1.6L still in my Little beast
I would like some outside opinions on what i should do about either getting a 2L or just getting the rebuild done.

Also for the record id like to know the deal with the Windsor 302 and whether it actually bolts straight in or not?

Windsor 302 will not bolt in...

but I agree with what rota-eski suggested, and have a look at what others have done and see what else is out there.

I have a 2.0 litre and find it marvellous. Since the tune up and running on ULP with lead additive, i get near on 500kms per tank .... which is huge for this little worked motor, however i drive it softly softly.

For the price and weight of the car, a 2.0 litre .. slightly worked motor would surprise you

Cheers
