Default AU "Crewman"

I was heading to Autobarn yesterday to get some top up fluids for the ute, when I noticed this nice Acid Rush paintjob on an AU ute, and as I was going by, I noticed 4 doors, realised I had better go back before I miss it and take a picture of it. Luckily, I got a pic on my phone just as it was leaving...

People who want the full size pic, PM me.

That ute was built by the Hillier brothers at Tenterfield in NSW if I'm not mistaken. Very nicely done.

I think that's Clayton's ute, unless he's sold it on recently.

I was thinking at the time that it looked like a Hilliers job, but didn't want to say otherwise until I put it on here.

Doubt it is still owned by the Hilliers. Think it was sold on a while ago. Also considering it's now in QLD and the Hillier bro's are NSW based.

It looks a little longer than a Crewman as they dont have quite the leg room in the rear of the equivalent Commodore. Wonder if this one has same legroom in rear as AU sedan.

The tray area is also a fair bit longer than the crewman, seems to be a full sized tub.
This car also has full sized rear doors, whereas the crewman has the cut out for the wheel arch.
I reckon it looks alright. At least a grown person would be able to sit in the back!

It's alot longer than a Crewman, due to the full size ute tub that all styleside utes have.

I think it looks alright. The extra rear legroom over a Crewman would certainly be appreciated.
