and the test car has the steering on that side as well, but that shouldn't mean anything, they'll be using a global platform and probably have a few mules over there being tested and maybe even for export.

But isn't the Wheels & Motor mag pictures just cut & past versions of what they believe the VE will look like?

Yup, the VE's you see in the mags are just artists impressions based on reasonably good info.

I agree with you, looks very Euro and the first thing I actually thought when I looked at the pics was that it looks very small compared to your average Bombodore.

Exactly right. That's the giveaway - Holden has been deliberately doing a Honda with its grille badges, ie. stupidly bigger is better. To them, everyone is blind and therefore their cars, needing identity badly, require a foot high grille badge.

It is very small, maybe that's the way they are going again, they went that way when they introduced the Commy, they wanted something that looked smaller from the Kingswood??????.

As people have said it looks too small to be a commodore. Maybe a new medium car model?

No way, it looks like a mid sized hatch, and is too far removed in styling from the current model to be related.

I cant see holden going this radical. Too big a gamble.

An interesting suggestion that this could indeed be a torana. Now that would raise some eyebrows. Looks Torana shapeish. Looks like a hatchback though.

Interesting.

Looks like a hatch.

Would Holden go so far as having dual exhaust?

Its got a rear windscreen spray jet, its a hatch. Maybe a new commodore variant - I've got the feeling that torana was more VE commodore than concept car.

You are wrong, in the second photo, the driver is visible on the right hand side of the car with his finger tips on the steering wheel.

Never. Part of Holdens export boom has been because of thier RWD set up.

Yes after seeing that rear pic, with the spray jet, I too say it's the Torrana.
