Default helpers for a t5 conversion

hey is it too much to ask for helpers on a t5 conversion? as i know it is a fairly lengthy process to get it all done, but im willing to supply bbq lunch and a whole buttload of beer to all who help out, im not sure how many would need to help and for how long.... but yeh once i get the parts needed ill put in more of an official asking for help thread, just wondering whats needed in terms of motivation to get some helpers...
cheers

i'll come, i converted my EA to manual. The pedal box i'm not sure how I pulled that off but somehow got it changed over. I suggest you get a malwood pedal pin thingo that people are allways talking about. Plus you are walking distance to my house which is handy lol.

Oh and I have every tool you could need. A whole buttload off beer would be great.

Sounds like it could be a great day. I need more practical and theoretical knowlage, so provided the date is good, I'd be more than willing to help!

Also I've got a full mechanic's toolbox at my disposal.

yeah 2-3 people who know what they are doing would see it done in a day. the worst part is removing the auto. Also did you get a pedal box or are you going to get the malwood pin, pedal box changeover = pain in the butt. And what are you doing ECU wise ?

Yeah, that's exactly what I did, and it worked out well. E-series members are generally very helpful, and like to help each other out (particularily when there is free beer). It can also be a bit of a social day, as you can have a bit of a chat etc. while the conversion takes place

15 slabs? That works out to about a slab per person.

Perfect.

LOL 15 slabs! It'd be a funny ol' conversion after a couple of hours and 15 slabs to be consumed!

Just buy a couple of slabs and about 50 million snags (note: only if Yagz and Rob come) :P

I probably won't be able to go on that weekend. With my birthday being on the 28th, I'm probably going to be at the parent's place at Maffra again for that weekend. I gotta pick up my pressies somehow! lol
