Default stubborn bolt in door trim ><

been trying to remove the door trim on the front passenger door of an EL fairmont. All the screws comeo out fine, but it appears that one of the lugs that hold the screws (black screw in door handle) into the actual door frame has come loose and i can no longer unscrew that particular screw. Tried pulling the trim out while turning the screw, but still stuck... Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Sounds like the rivet in the door that the screw attaches to is just spinning inside its hole.
Maybe superglueing the screwdriver to the head of the screw and pull it while trying to turn it.

Had the same problem once the only way I could get it off was by drilling the head off the screw.

Actually it may be better to push on it while trying to undo it, but either way id be giving both ways a try. I dont see how drilling it will help because the thing with still spin while you're trying to drill it.
