Question squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak

:

I have a squeak in my front right wheel. It sounds like rubber on metal. Even my mechanics couldn't pick up on it. It used to be faint but now it's really loud - I can hear it bouncing off fences and other cars. I can hear it from 1k right up to about 80ks.

I feel like it cheapens the image of the E-Series (and Falcons in general), especially when I see people turn and look, and for that fact alone it's really grinding on me. Any ideas?

Have you had a look at wheel bearings?

Maybe as simple as cheap pads gone hard. Does it stop when you apply the brakes?

It will either be wheel bearings or pads making contact with the disc as it revolves.

Damn. That would annoy the ИИИИ out of me. Squeakyness isnt something I handle without throwing my temper around.

My whole suspension is squeaky and it ИИИИs me to tears. I'll be soon to work on that one..... soon.

I had a squeek in my front end recently too, Short term fix was turn the stereo up, long term fix was use rubber grease on all the rubber/nolathane bushes.

I have the most annoying high pitched squeak in my car

its coming from the passenger door mirror of all things. Im going to have to rip it off and pull it apart, putting it back together with lube!

Have had this before and it turned out to be the hub seals. Slip the rotor off and smear a bit of grease around the outer lip of the hub seal.

Its a good possibility that its your hub seals, if they are dry they can make that noise, or if they were'nt installed properly they can squeak.

Get under the car and lube up as many of the bushes as you can. If it goes away, you're onto something. If it's still there, keep looking.

Bingo.
I've had a squeak that turned out to be hub seals. Couldn't be stuffed taking off the rotors again, so I sprayed the seal with some silicone spray, squeak gone...

Cheers fellas. I'm not gonna make a point of parading around until I get everything the way I want it. I'm still waiting on rims from Wheels Direct. I ordered them in January and his supplier has been stuffing him around. I'd like to know who it is so I can tell them to stop ****ing around and do their job properly.

Until I get some spare time, I'm gonna have to keep driving through red eyes (squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak). :
