I have just acquired second hand set of headlight covers for my series 1 XR. Unfortunately I have no fitting instructions. Anyone got any tips on lining up the brackets before drilling holes? Is there a template floating around? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DONT DO IT!!!!
XR's look so dumb with headlight covers on... :( but thats my opinion, if you like them, go for it. it would probably be easiest to pull off the front bar, line up where the brackets/holes go. mark em up, and drill away =S

dont think there is a template as such, just have to test fit them to find the right spot and crack out the ryobi.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like it is going to be a slow and careful process - measure twice if not more and drill once!
I do like the look of the covers - certainly different |

"MEASURE TWICE.... CUT ONCE" and also, "IF YOUR NOT SURE... MEASURE IT AGAIN!!!" |
