*edit* I misread the initial post. JC from the AU section (he also visits E-Series regularly due to having an EL ) has recently made some BA shifter knobs to suit E-Series housings. PM him ;)

It's me. They're all ready to go, apart from one issue, which I may contact FTG about when I get a minute.
I've managed to successfully re-engineer the mechanism so it pushes down instead of pulling up, but can't get the shifter to sit properly on the EF/EL metal shaft. I need a 53mm length of round metal or plastic tubing that's got an outside diameter of 20mm, and an inside diameter of 16mm (ie 2mm thick material). First person to let me know what I could use, and where I could get it, gets 50% off the price of the BA shifter modified to suit EF/EL.

JC try some 2mm Stainless Steel or some 2mm Aulumin even though Aulumin is a soft metal and its easy to bend even at 2mm give those a try and yeh u dont want Mild steel at 2mm Heavy!
