Hey All,
Bought the wife a Fiesta Ambiente about 2 months ago, but it only came with one remote, which really, really irritates me... Already have the key, so just wondering if I can get a remote like from a BF or similar and train it to work with her car, or do I have to get the whole kit and kaboodle, cut reprogrammed etc? I've got a remote from my Dad's old BF ute, can I train it and not have a boot release button? |

dont think you can get another ford model to train /link it
if you can ..... I cant find the procedure anywhere any car you would have though should have come with two time to approach the nearest ford dealer- sales or spare parts and ask the hard questions you must be talking a fob if a fob that may have to be programmed to the remote central locking module controller with a scanner if remote is in the key you can get a key cut and programmed no problem (locksmith )

Pretty much... but it is only me driving the thing 99.9% of the time. If it needs to be moved by someone else they just use the key while i keep the remote.

See my wife has the remote but I drive when we're together, she won't let me unlock the car with the key because I might scratch the car, but she complains about having to dig the keys out of her bottomless pit of a handbag, lol... Women, right?

All Falcon remotes from BA work on the same frequency (433Mhz). WT fiesta's list the FG remote as the replacement for the flip key remote.
So in short, if you can find the programming procedure, then yes it will work. Youtube is your friend.
