Default Welcome to AUFALCON.COM's new home

Thats right, AUFALCON.COM (and AUFALCON.COM.AU - same thing) has moved to where we belong, an AUSTRALIAN Ford Forum site for AUSTRALIAN cars owned and run by AUSTRALIAN'S.
As you may have noticed, aufalcon.com has not changed much in the last few weeks. This was firstly due to Christmas (I need a break too) and secondly due to my access to change my own site being removed. Guess who.
Regardless, aufalcon.com is going to move to a new server soon and I will have it back and cruising soon enough. I am also in the process of bringing over some of the more critical info from the old place.
We will lose some interesting threads no doubt but we will make new ones and generally have a great new home.

I'd like to thank all the admins and mods (you know who you are) for allowing aufalcon.com to be part of this exciting new forum.

LONG LIVE FORDFORUMS.COM.AU

Very good to see a site about an Australian Car becoming Australian!

Removing access to your own site is a bit of a cheap shot, but we wont get into that.
Will be great to see the new & improved aufalcon.com.au up and running.

Rod, I expect to see ALL the AU guys hit here in the next week or 2. I know that I got a huge amount of requests asking for our own forums and this is EXACTLY what we all wanted. I'm grinning like a loon at the moment.

It was a very cheap shot, but only a minor setback.
Aufalcon.com will remain, we will be bigger than ever, and we will be part of FordForums.com.au

Welcome aboard Casper and the AU guys.

A couple of things:

1. We have registered the aufalcon.com.au domain name and when we wrok out how to add subdomains here we will point that name at this site in the AU section.

2. Anything you need retrieved from the old site (including posts) we can almost certainly manage to achieve.

3. That will include the part number info as well.

Cheers
Russ

Russ, thats fantastic. The Parts Number Thread is the main one I think. Apart from that the Chip Challenge thread would be good but not critical. Also great that you have got the aufalcon.com.au name. If you want to point it to the aufalcon.com website (once I get it on to a server not in the US ) please feel free. I would love to try and intergrate ff.com.au and aufalcon.com as closely as possible as I see ff.com.au as being the way of the future and want to get rid of the old ff.com stuff as soon as possible.

Really, Really good that the part numbers thread can be retreived (or at least some of it).

Congrats on the move Casper. This seems like a much better site. Don't know what happened between you and the other guys, nor do I want to (or need to for that matter). Just glad to be supporting an Aussie site for a real Aussie car. Yay team!!!
