Default Thermal Paints in hot climates

I just painted my shed roof with that thermal paint and the difference is just amazing. It would be an easy 15 degrees cooler in there, cost a shitload but it was well worth it. Anyone out there who lives in 40+ weather should really consider it for their cars sake. The missus is spewin I did the shed roof before the house.

I used Emerclad, but there are a few different ones. They are primarily designed as a water proofing product. I think its one of the more expensive ones, 15lt drum costs around $150 which covers 45m2. You are supposed to put down a primer and three top coats, but since it was only for the shed and I'm looking at a new one in a couple of years time I just water blasted it and put down one really thick coat. When properly done they offer a 10year warranty. The shed roof is about 100m2 and I did the west wall so it ended up costing around $450. I would have paid double now that I know the difference. I hit it with a laser temp gun and found that an uncoated section was 65deg while the coated roof was 30deg. Obviously that doesn't translate to a 35 degree drop inside but it is still a huge difference.

I also thought it was about thermal pants in hot weather.

Sounds like a good product. The paint not the pants.
