G'day there. Just after some recommendations for car trailer manufacturers in Melbourne or Adelaide and your thoughts.

Hey mate, cheapest I found in Melb was HC Hoppers Crossing Trailers, $4500 on the road, leccy brakes, 2.8t GVM, Tare under 800, so can take FG X XR8. Also can have low sides, and makes a really big box trailer! Made on-site. If you get the standard 2 GVM, weighing 800kg, the load can only be 1200kg or you're overweight & illegal and no insurance! XK weighs 1140kg -OK, XA 250 weighs 1420kg, too heavy. Plus, hard to lend out if they don't have leccy brake set-up too.

I'll rephrase that. The best built trailer for the money. One was 7k for same. A tilting trailer can be had for over $6,500. I will look at the $4,500 one to buy in 6 months.
