Hey All,
There a lot of intake and exhaust manifolds on ebay at the moment, and many of these are specifically stating that they are good bolt on performance upgrades for 1600 motors (which is what I have). What I'm not sure about, is exactly what engine my 81 1600 GL came with. Does anyone know if it's a '' engine, or a 'CROSS FLOW'? Can anyone tell me more about these engines and their designations? Any light shed would be greatly appreciated! Dan

the 1600 1300 and 1100 are pushrod / ohv crossflow engines.
yes there are alot on ebay.. the manifolds are suprisingly cheap, but the carburetters will suprise you. not sure about an 81, is it still a rear wheel drive mk2 ? |
