Just purchased a second hand Mondeo Zetec 2007 with the Sony sound system + bluetooth. It looks great but I can't seem to find a manual and have no idea how to use some of the features.
In particular I'm interested in the AUX as I'd like to plug my iPhone to the sound system to listen to music. If anyone knows where I can get my hands on an instruction manual or any guidance would be appreciated. |

Hi Zack
No idea on manual The AUX connector is actually in the glove box. It is a standard 3.5mm jack. You will need a cable to connect. You can hit the M button (on the steering wheel) to change to it, or use the scroll buttons on the other side. Pairing with your iphone for bluetooth is pretty simple as well. You should be to work it out without the manual. |

The first question is to define the model. In 2007 the mondeo moved from the Mk3 version to the Mk 4 version In european type designation, and I'm reasonably sure that the Mk3 wasn't imported into Oz. The Mk4 is known as the MA model and in 2009 some changes moved it to the MB version but the changes were not very obvious. So I'm betting that the model you have is an MA as is ours. The vehicle manual has a section on the radio starting at about page 180. but the following should let you use the aux input. The input jack is hidden in the glove box on the right hand side, is surrounded by a grey bezel and accepts a 3.5 mm tip/ring/sleeve plug such as you see on headphone leads. Two varieties of sound system have been fitted, but I'm not sure if both made it to Oz in different models of the car. However both have a button in one case (the 6 cd changer version) it's called CD/Aux towards the top of the left side button array. push this and you will see CD in the display unless you are already playing CDs in which case it should switch to Aux input and will then play whatever is being fed into the AUX input in the glove box. In the single CD version there is an AUX button on the left hand side. A single push of this will take you into AUX mode. I've attached small pictures of the radio fascia for you to compare with what you have. The AUX control buttons are next to the yellow dots
