Default Help, no drive Focus 2 Auto

Stuck in a car park 2006 Zetec Auto, Car starts fine, cant select gears, stuck in park, Think it must be the linkage, a quick search found no hits. Need to know where it might be detached and how to get to it with basic tools. Even getting it easily out of Park would allow a tow

Back moving again. Selector cable off at the gearbox, fixed back with cable ties as bush that it snaps onto has disintegrated. Have got a 3d print file for the bush so now to get one printed up

I think you should refer to the manual but there is a way to get the car out of Park in circumstances you experienced. It involves inserting the key into a hole near the gear selector. At least in the original version of the Focus, it worked that way. Not sure about subsequent versions.
